The challenge
A money exchange lives on trust and on the number itself, and a printed rate board on a wall reaches nobody before they arrive. Al Saqqal needed customers to see the rate, and the credentials behind it, before they reached the counter on Ledra Street.
We built the storefront on Next.js: a currency converter, a real-time rates board across roughly thirty currencies, and a one-tap WhatsApp line to the counter. The MoneyGram agent badge, the Cyprus registration number, and the daily hours sit in plain view, with a crypto buy-and-sell desk beside the fiat counter.
The approach
Trust on the Surface
Put the MoneyGram agent badge, the Cyprus registration number, and the daily hours where every visitor sees them. A money exchange is bought on trust before it is bought on rate.
Live Rates Board
Built a real-time rates board across roughly thirty currencies and a converter that answers the only question a customer arrives with: what will I get.
Direct to the Counter
Wired a one-tap WhatsApp line and call button straight to the Ledra Street desk, so a quote is a message away rather than a walk across town.
Crypto Beside Fiat
Added a crypto buy-and-sell desk next to the fiat counter, presented with the same plain, transactional clarity as the rest of the board.
